i wear Bare Minerals makeup, and can the Bismuth in there cause skin cancer?
and if so, doe putting on lotion before bare minerals help protect it?

it is only a rumor that Bismuth in Bare Minerals causes skin cancer. the rumor was started because someone with skin cancer complained that they got it from bare minerals.
i asked my dermotoligist about it and he said not to worry, that tests proved those rumors wrong.
putting on lotion before the bare minerals is not something youll have to worry about because it doesnt give you cancer, but if you still want to, make sure that it doenst make you shine first by putting it on the back of your hand, becuase the whole point of Bare Minerals is to keep you looking good and SHINE FREE!
I don’t believe it can cause skin cancer, but because it is a natural form of arsenic lead, it is poison, and that just can’t be good for your skin.
