It is always best to consult a dermatologist about anything like that that you’re unsure about. Better to be safe than sorry. If you are very fair skinned like I am; always wear a sunscreen, and hat, sun glasses, cover, when out in the sun. Let me know how your appointment goes.

I just had a squamous cell, medium grade skin cancer removed from my lower leg. The doctor had to do a curettage and removal with a scalpel. I had an idea when I went in that a simple freezing (liquid hydrogen) wouldn’t be enough. He said that I was lucky that it hadn’t gotten too deep. I was so relieved that it was removed in time. Don’t put it off! Always get to a doctor early at the first signs !

I was diagnosed with melanoma just last year, at age of 34. I was so lucky, they spotted it early. My melanoma was found in a newly developed mole less than 2 milimeter in size on my lower back. I dont go into the sun a lot, im not a beach-lover. It can happen to everybody. Have your spots checked yearly for early detection!!
